Bursting with red fruits! One of the best light, drinkable red wines at TJ's. At only $4.99, we always have a bottle of this ready to start the night.

Tasting Notes

This is one of our favorite light red wines. Whenever we pour it, we find that most people consider it easy to drink and refreshingly delicious as a light red.

Beaujolais are made with Gamay grapes, which are an early ripening clone of Pinot Noir. It is very light and soft with barely any tannins. It's not a particularly long finish, which is what makes it so drinkable to me.

This wine is tangy, exploding with cherry and strawberry with little notes of orange peel. Believe it or not, I also get a little hint of chocolate banana after my 4th or 5th sip!

This producer has great illustrations on the label - classic black and white design with a pop of color from the illustration make it pop off the shelf at TJs, which is what originally inspired me to buy it.

Serve slightly chilled. We've served this with seared ahi tuna. If you like red wine with your sushi, this is a great pairing.
