This $3.99 everyday wine is reliable and a great value - soft with notes of ripe red fruit and hints of tobacco.

Tasting Notes

Considering this bottle is $3.99, expectations should not be high but this Tempranillo is great for the value. What inspired me to buy it was the cute little polkadot pig on the label. There is nothing particularly memorable about this wine, but it’s reliable and easy - a great everyday drinking wine.

It is dry with medium acidity and relatively soft. With notes of ripe cherry, strawberry, and raspberry. It also has finishing notes of tobacco.

I wouldn’t bring this bottle as a gift, given the price tag - but as an everyday bottle with dinner, it will pair well with any grilled meat or veggie.

It deserves a 4 star rating not because of thee wine, but because of the insane price for something so reliable and approachable.
